The US superbike maker, Triumph has launched its entry-level street bike Street Tripple S in India at Rs 850,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new edition Street S engine is developed by race bred ‘Daytona‘ with a displacement of 765 cc. The revamped street bike is now having 80 new parts from crank, pistons, and Nikasil plated aluminium barrels and an increased bore and stroke. The bike delivers peak torque at 73Nm @ 10,421 rpm.

Triumph India will also offer 60 customizable options to meet the needs of the biker which includes exhaust, colour coded seat cowl and swingarm protector kit and lot more. The new Triumph will compete with bikes like Yamaha Mt-09, Ducati Monster 821, Kawasaki Z 900. It’s the cheapest of its counterparts.
The bike will come through CKD route and will be assembled in company’s Manesar plant.
