After Air India, now SpiceJet has also offered seats for solo women travellers travelling alone. According to the reports, from March 8th the fourth row will be available for the lone women travellers.
This step has been taken for the comfort and better safety for women travellers.
According to the reports in HT, women travelling alone on March 8th, International Women’s Day will also be given a free upgrade to SpiceMax seats. These seats offer extra legroom and a complimentary meal.
Earlier in January, Air India rolled out a similar offer. The airline reserves the entire third row of an aircraft or six seats for women passengers travelling alone on domestic flights.
