Gautam Adani and his family have secured the top position in the Hurun India Rich List 2026, with a combined net worth exceeding ₹9.22 lakh crore. Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and his family followed in second place, with wealth estimated at ₹8.63 lakh crore.
Adani, whose business interests include the energy sector, is listed with Ahmedabad as his base, while Ambani’s base is Mumbai.
Lakshmi Niwas Mittal and his family ranked third with ₹3.39 lakh crore, followed by Cyrus S Poonawalla and his family of the Serum Institute of India, with ₹3.03 lakh crore.
HCL’s Roshni Nadar Malhotra and her family secured fifth place with ₹2.78 lakh crore. Kumar Mangalam Birla and his family ranked sixth with ₹2.69 lakh crore.
Dilip Shanghvi of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries took seventh place with ₹2.65 lakh crore, while Azim Premji and his family of Wipro ranked eighth with ₹2.63 lakh crore.
Anil Agarwal and his family of Vedanta Resources stood ninth with ₹2.08 lakh crore. Samir Mehta and his family, associated with Torrent Pharmaceuticals, completed the top ten with ₹1.89 lakh crore.
Other notable names include Uday Kotak, Rajiv Singh, Sunil Mittal, Venu Srinivasan, Ina Ashwin Dani, Radha Vembu and Nikhil Kamath.
