Los Angeles : Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have reportedly ended their relationship after three years together. The couple quietly separated several months ago and chose to remain friends.
Grande and Slater first met while working on Wicked, which was released in November 2024. Their relationship drew significant public attention as both were navigating the end of previous relationships at the time.
A source told Page Six, “Ariana and Ethan broke up several months ago but they’ve remained friends since then and have nothing but respect and admiration for one another.”
The source added, “This wasn’t a decision they took lightly but realised they were better off friends than in a committed relationship. Ariana is feeling really happy and focused on the next chapter with her Eternal Sunshine tour and the upcoming release of her album Petal.”
The breakup news follows a recent moment during her Eternal Sunshine tour that sparked discussion among fans. In the Wicked films, Ethan Slater portrays Boq, while Ariana Grande plays Glinda.
