Deepika Padukone has shown support for a social media post urging people to stop speculating about women and their pregnancies. The actor faced trolling during her first pregnancy, with some social media users questioning whether her baby bump was genuine.
The discussion resurfaced after Deepika shared pictures from a maternity shoot featuring her, husband Ranveer Singh and their daughter Dua. The images received a positive response from many fans.
Content creator Arshia Moorjani praised the photographs and criticised the speculation surrounding Deepika’s first pregnancy. She said, “Not every celebrity is faking their pregnancy!”
She further said, “Deepika Padukone is not faking her pregnancy. She is clearly pregnant with baby number 2 so please let her have this moment. Stop normalising telling women with different body size that they are faking their pregnancies! This is such a beautiful moment in their lives. She looks stunning.”
