Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has addressed the ongoing debate around the visual effects of Ramayana, urging audiences to appreciate the effort behind such large-scale projects.
In a note shared on social media, Roshan praised filmmakers who attempt ambitious cinema, highlighting that such projects involve significant financial risk and years of dedication. He described creators of films like Baahubali and Kalki as visionaries who strive to deliver unique cinematic experiences.
He emphasized that VFX-driven films require the hard work of thousands of artists over long periods and called for more informed criticism from viewers. According to him, the intent to create something new deserves recognition.
The remarks come after the teaser of Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, received mixed reactions online, with some questioning its visual quality and casting choices.
