A tragic incident has reportedly disrupted the shoot of Prabhas’ upcoming film Fauzi near Ramoji Film City, after a crew member lost their life in a road accident on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
According to media reports, the mishap occurred when members of the film crew were travelling to the shoot location. The vehicle they were in allegedly lost control near Abdullapurmet and crashed into a cement divider, leading to a severe impact. One crew member died on the spot, while several others sustained serious injuries.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, and some of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
Police have begun an investigation into the accident, which reportedly took place under the Choutuppal police station limits, close to a bridge in the area. Initial reports suggest the driver may have lost control of the vehicle, but officials are still examining whether all safety protocols were followed.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, the film’s production team has decided to halt the shoot temporarily. The decision was taken to mourn the deceased crew member and allow time for necessary formalities. The team is also cooperating with authorities as the investigation continues.
Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, had been progressing steadily before the incident. Earlier, the makers had also dealt with issues related to leaked images from the sets and had issued strict warnings against sharing unauthorized content.
The film is expected to feature Prabhas in the role of a soldier, with the story reportedly rooted in themes of courage and history. However, following this unfortunate event, production has come to an abrupt pause, and further updates are awaited from the makers.Prabhas’ Fauzi Shoot Halted After Crew Member Dies In Hyderabad Road Accident
