The feud between comedians Samay Raina and Sunil Pal has flared up once again.
Days after Sunil Pal claimed he had rejected a Rs 25 lakh offer to appear on India’s Got Latent, Samay brushed it aside with a sharp response. Sharing a report about the claim on his Instagram Stories, the comedian simply wrote, “Fake news.”
He followed it up with another jab, writing, “Sunil Pal ko 25 lakh?” along with laughing emojis, making it clear he did not take the claim seriously.
Sunil had earlier alleged that Samay personally approached him for the show and offered him Rs 25 lakh. Explaining why he declined, he said, “He told me he would pay me Rs 25 lakh. I said I wouldn’t use abusive language. He replied, ‘You don’t have to, but that’s what we would be doing.'”
The latest exchange is just another episode in the duo’s ongoing public feud, which began after the India’s Got Latent controversy in 2025. Sunil had been among the show’s strongest critics, urging Samay to embrace “clean comedy” and even comparing him and Ranveer Allahbadia to “terrorists” over the backlash surrounding the show.
Samay later hit back in his comeback stand-up special Still Alive, where he called Sunil “insecure” and “frustrated.” The rivalry has since spilled over to television appearances and social media, with both comedians taking repeated digs at each other.
Most recently, India’s Got Latent Season 2 returned with new celebrity guests, while the Samay-Sunil rivalry continues to grab almost as much attention as the show itself.
