The makers of Gal Gadot-starrer The Runner have unveiled the official trailer of the psychological thriller, which also features Damian Lewis in a lead role.
The trailer follows Gal Gadot’s character as she desperately tries to rescue her kidnapped son. During what begins as a routine morning run, her life takes a dramatic turn after she receives a phone call informing her that her son has been abducted.

The kidnappers give her a chilling set of instructions to get him back: “keep moving, follow every command and tell no one.”
Forced to run through the city while obeying a series of sinister commands, Maia is pushed to her limits and must confront an impossible question: how far will she go to bring her son home?
Prime Video shared the trailer on its official Instagram handle.
The film is directed by Kevin Macdonald and written by Mark Gibson. It is produced by David Kosse and executive produced by Jane Robertson, Amy Paquette, Elliott Kleinberg and Claire Willats.
Apart from Gal Gadot and Damian Lewis, the film also stars Rory Wilmot and Alfred Enoch in prominent roles. The Runner is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on September 2.
Gal Gadot, best known for Wonder Woman, received one of Hollywood’s highest honours last year.
The Wonder Woman actress was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday. Standing beside her during the ceremony were her husband, Jaron Varsano, and their four daughters—Alma, 13, Maya, 8, Daniella, 3, and 13-month-old baby Ori.
