Dia Mirza and Meenakshi Lekhi in bitter battle on Twitter

Mumbai: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat had recently been in the eye of the storm after he alleged that Mother Teresa’s main objective behind her services to the poor was to convert them to Christianity. 

His remarks caused uproar, with Mother Teresa’s Missionary of Charity even calling him “ill-informed “. 

However some, including the Shiv Sena and BJP’s Meenakshi Lekhi, have voiced their agreement with Bhagwat’s statement. 

Lekhi on Tuesday said that Mother Teresa had herself said in an interview that “a lot of people confuse me as social worker; I am not a social worker. I am in the service of Jesus and my job is to spread the word of Christianity and bring people to its fold”.

Her remarks seems to have annoyed Bollywood actor Dia Mirza who tweeted:
