From Hollywood to videogames Irrfan does it all

Date:

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s role in the upcoming fourth instalment of the ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise will be a part of the first ever video game based on the film series.

After establishing himself in India, Irrfan Khan has been gradually cementing his position in Hollywood as well.

From A Mighty Heart (2007) and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) to Life of Pi (2012), he has a number of projects under his belt.

Recently, his name was even announced as part of the film adaptation of author Dan Brown’s Inferno, which stars Tom Hanks apart from other international names.
Now, we have learnt that the actor’s character in the upcoming installment of the Jurassic Park franchise has been converted into a plastic figurine and has also been featured in a video game.

Irrfan plays Simon Masrani, CEO of the Masrani Corporation and the owner of Jurassic World in the movie, which has been directed by Colin Trevorrow.
“I am quite kicked about this development and am looking forward to how well the game would be received,” the 48-year-old actor said.

There would be two versions of the game that has been developed by the team at LEGO and Irrfan’s character would be part of both the games.

The first will be a character game and the other a video game. Both of them are expected to be launched at an international level.

‘Jurassic World’ releases on June 12 later this year.
