Singer-songwriter Harry Styles is trending on social media after he held up a pride flag at his Live On Tour in Philadelphia, late Friday night. Styles has always been a huge public supporter of the LGBTQI community.

At the beginning of Pride Month, he released t-shirts with the words ‘Treat People With Kindness’ on them in a rainbow print. All proceeds from the shirts go to GLSEN – an American education organisation striving for safe and inclusive schools for LBGTQI youth.
People are going berserk over the act and have taken to Twitter in anticipation. “I had no idea who Harry Styles was, but he just held up a MAKE AMERICA GAY AGAIN flag and now I love him,” tweeted a user. “Harry Styles did not have to go this hard, but he did that. For all of us. For America. MAKE AMERICA GAY AGAIN,” tweeted one person.

At his Friday concert in Philadelphia, Styles waved a rainbow flag with the words Make America Gay Again emblazoned on them. He spotted a fan, Karla Balcazar with a rainbow flag and then took to hold up to the crowd while singing, “ What makes you beautiful”. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month (LGBT Pride Month) is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honour the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. The Stonewall riots were a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.
