New Delhi: Actress Priyanka Chopra took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate actress Kangana Ranaut for getting the National Award for Best Actress, for her role in Queen.
The winners of 62nd National Film Awards were announced in a press conference in New Delhi on March 24.Â
Priyanka, who was competing against Kangana for her role in Mary Kom.

Priyanka, had previously won the National Award in the same category for 2008 film Fashion, for which Kangana also won Best Actress in Supporting Role award.
Meanwhile, Priyanka’s film Mary Kom was named Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Priyanka also congratulated director Vishal Bhardwaj, with whom she has worked in Kaminey.
Bhardwaj’s Haider bagged five awards this year.

Haider won Best Male Playback Singer for Sukhwinder Singh for the song Bismil; Best Dialogues and Music Direction for the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj; Best Choreography for Norway-based Sudesh Adhana; and Best Costume Designer for the effervescent Dolly Ahluwalia.Â
