Los Angeles: The frenzy of SS Rajamouli’s RRR continues to grip audiences in the West as the film’s tickets were sold out after just 98 seconds at the world’s biggest IMAX theatres at the TCL’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
The film is being run by an initiative Beyond Fest which took to Twitter and added that “It’s official and it’s historic. RRR sold out the Chinese Theatres in 98 seconds.”

The tweet further added that “There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before.”
The film garnered an overwhelming response at the TCL’s Chinese Theatre when it was screened for the first time in October.
While the film continues to break boundaries and keeps adding accolades to its record across the globe. Recently, SS Rajamouli received the Best Director Award from the New York Film Critic Circle.
The makers of the film with the actors are also set to take RRR at the Golden Globes 2023 as the film was nominated in the Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song categories.
The film has further been shortlisted for the upcoming Oscar Nominations. The film cast includes Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan in a special appearance.
