She Will Probably Pay A Price: Donald Trump Warns Taylor Swift Of Backlash Over Harris Endorsement

Date:

Former President Donald Trump has openly criticized Taylor Swift following her recent endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election. Trump, speaking on the matter, suggested that Swift’s political stance could lead to backlash from her fanbase, predicting that the pop star would “pay a price” for her decision to support Harris.

“I was not a Taylor Swift fan… she’s a very liberal person,” Trump remarked. “She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace,” he added.

Swift, a global superstar with a massive following, took to Instagram to voice her support for Harris, endorsing her in the upcoming November elections.

Swift made the announcement on her Instagram where she wrote, “I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader, and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

Signing off her post by dubbing herself a “childless cat lady,” Swift took a swipe at a much-mocked sentiment expressed by Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance which he had wielded in a bid to insult Democratic women.
