Producer and Director Karan Johar has become the proud parent of twins, according to reports in Mumbai Mirror. He opted for surrogacy and now is a father of a son and a daughter, Johar named them Yash, after his late father and Roohi, a re-arrangement of his mother name- Hiroo.

While Johar is yet to make a statement, the Mirror report was confirmed by a senior official from the BMC, the body responsible for issuing birth certificates. Johar is not the first to have a child via IVF in Bollywood. Recently, Tusshar Kapoor became a single father to a boy, Lakkshya. Shah Rukh Khan too opted for surrogacy for his third child, AbRam while Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao had their son, Azad Rao Khan, through the same procedure.
