54-Kg Laddu Cake Marks Yogi Adityanath’s 54th Birthday In Varanasi

Date:

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s 54th birthday was celebrated in a unique way in Varanasi on Friday, where supporters unveiled a massive 54-kg laddu cake at the iconic Varad Anjaneya Hanuman Temple.

The special cake, prepared to match the chief minister’s age, became the centrepiece of the celebrations at the 51-foot-tall temple, drawing devotees, BJP workers and local residents. The event featured prayers, devotional chants and an aarti, with attendees offering wishes for Adityanath’s good health, long life and continued leadership.

The temple premises were decorated for the occasion, while supporters gathered around the giant laddu cake before it was ceremonially cut and distributed among devotees. The celebration also included displays highlighting key welfare and development initiatives undertaken by the Uttar Pradesh government under Adityanath’s tenure.

Adding an environmental touch to the birthday event, organisers planted 54 saplings, symbolically linking the chief minister’s 54th birthday with World Environment Day. The plantation drive echoed the state government’s larger environmental campaign being conducted across Uttar Pradesh.

Born on June 5, 1972, Yogi Adityanath is currently the longest-serving Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. While he is known for keeping personal celebrations low-profile, supporters across the state marked the occasion with religious ceremonies, community gatherings and plantation drives.
