Ayodhya: Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra (retd), appointed the first CEO of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, described his selection as a “great fortune” and said he considered the opportunity a blessing from Lord Ram after 43 years of service in the Indian Air Force.
In his first interview after the appointment, Mishra said he was grateful to have been chosen from among thousands of candidates and viewed the new responsibility as an opportunity to serve Sri Ram Mandir and its devotees.
“I consider this a great fortune that they chose me from so many candidates. I also consider this as a blessing of Lord Ram that after 43 years of service to the nation in the Air Force, He has given me the opportunity to serve Sri Ram Mandir and Sri Ram bhakts,” Mishra told ANI.
He thanked the selection committee and the Shri Ram Mandir Trust for entrusting him with the responsibility, while also expressing gratitude to Lord Ram.
“As I said, I would like to thank the selection committee, Sri Ram Mandir Trust and Lord Ram for having chosen me for this responsibility,” Mishra said.
He added that he would pray for divine guidance and the ability to perform his duties effectively.
“I pray to God to grant me the capability so that I can shoulder it well,” Mishra said.
