Bihar Polls: Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas) Releases First List of 14 Candidates

Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) on Wednesday announced its first list of 14 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, marking the beginning of the party’s campaign strategy. The list reflects a careful mix of experienced leaders and emerging faces across key constituencies.

According to the announcement, party state president Raju Tiwari has been fielded from Govindganj, while prominent leader Hulas Pandey will contest from Brahampur. The LJP-RV has also named Sanjay Singh as its candidate from Simri Bakhtiyarpur and Vishnu Deo Paswan from Darauli.

Among other names, Simant Mrinal will contest from Garkha, Surendra Kumar from Sahebpur Kamal, Sanjay Kumar Paswan from Bakhri, and Aditya Kumar Shaurya, alias Babulal Shaurya, from Parbatta.

Releasing the list, Chirag Paswan reaffirmed his commitment to carrying forward his father Ram Vilas Paswan’s vision of “Bihar First, Bihari First.” He said the selected candidates represent the aspirations of youth and marginalised communities, aiming to bring real change to the state’s politics.

With this announcement, the LJP-RV has officially entered the election race, signaling its intent to emerge as a decisive player in Bihar’s 2025 political battle.
