Boy was injured by gunshot

New Delhi, Aug 19 (PTI) In a freak incident, a 10-year-oldboy was injured by a gunshot under mysterious circumstances ineast Delhi, police said today. The boy identified as Aman had gone to a local shop inFarsh Bazar area at around 8 pm when he received the bulletinjury. He collapsed on the ground and was noticed by hisuncle who rushed him to Hedgewar hospital from where he wasshifted to GTB hospital as his condition deteriorated, said apolice officer. The doctors at the hospital detected the wound on hisabdomen and later took out the bullet lodged there. A case of attempt to murder was registered at Farsh Bazarpolice station and investigation has been taken up, he said. Police suspected that the boy was hit by the bullet whichwas fired by someone with a country-made pistol. PTI VITKUN
