CBSE 12 Results 2026 Declared, Pass Percentage Drops To 85.20%

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 Result 2026. Students who appeared for the board examinations conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026, can now access their scorecards through multiple official platforms.
Results are available on cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, DigiLocker, and the UMANG App. The Class 10 results were released earlier on April 15, 2026.

How to Check CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Online
Visit the official CBSE result portal and click on “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026”. Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and security captcha. After submitting the details, the marksheet will appear on the screen. Students can download and save the PDF copy and are advised to take screenshots due to possible heavy traffic.

Other Ways to Check Results
CBSE has also provided alternative methods including SMS service, IVRS facility, DigiLocker, and the UMANG App to ensure smooth access during high traffic.
For SMS, students must send the prescribed format to the official number released by CBSE to receive subject-wise marks. On UMANG, students can search CBSE services, select Class 12 Result 2026, and enter credentials. On DigiLocker, users can log in, verify OTP, and access digital marksheets under the Education section using roll number and passing year.

Pass Percentage Declines
The overall pass percentage in CBSE Class 12 examinations declined this year. In 2026, 17,80,365 students registered, 17,68,968 appeared, and 15,07,109 passed, resulting in an 85.20% pass rate. In 2025, the pass percentage was 88.39%, with 14,96,307 students passing, marking a decline of 3.19 percentage points.

Important Details
Students should keep roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth ready for quick login. DigiLocker-issued documents, including marksheets, migration certificates, and pass certificates, are valid for admissions, counselling, and verification purposes.
