Delhi-NCR residents have been enjoying a nice, chilly, cold wind since Tuesday evening. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu, and Kashmir. As a result, Delhi-NCR is experiencing a shift in weather, with mild cold and potentially foggy mornings.
Snowfall in the mountains subtly influences the weather in the plains, bringing light rain and chilly winds to Delhi and its surrounding areas.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi-NCR witnessed mist and light fog in the morning as the predominant surface wind, likely from the northwest direction, blew at 12 to 14 kmph during the morning hours.
According to the IMD, the minimum temperature is expected to drop to 11 degrees Celsius, while the maximum may reach 26 degrees Celsius. Strong surface winds and warm weather are predicted for the day.
Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘moderate’ category, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 148, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
