The total number of positive cases of coronavirus in India stood at 834 on Saturday morning, including 748 active cases and 66 recovered cases, one migrated and 19 dead, according to the latest figures released by the Health Ministry.

- On Friday, Kerala reported 39 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus, said CM Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
- As migrant labourers head towards their hometowns across India, the Centre has directed the states and UTs to look after them.
- The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to all states and UTs to take “immediate steps to provide adequate support including food and shelter” to migrant labourers, industrial workers and other unorganised sector workers.
