New Delhi: In a significant seizure, Customs officials at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport apprehended a woman passenger on Tuesday for attempting to smuggle 26 iPhone 16 Pro Max devices concealed within her vanity bag. The operation was executed based on specific intelligence received by the Customs Department.
According to officials, the woman was traveling from Hong Kong to Delhi when she was intercepted. The devices were wrapped in tissue paper and strategically hidden within her luggage, highlighting ongoing concerns over smuggling at the airport. “Based on intelligence, Delhi Airport Customs intercepted a lady passenger carrying 26 iPhone 16 Pro Max concealed inside her vanity bag,” a Customs spokesperson reported.
