New Delhi: A power outage at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi disrupted operations, causing significant issues with boarding and check-in services for a brief period on Monday. Passengers reported congestion at the T3 terminal as the power failure rendered Digi Yatra systems and check-in counters non-operational, leading to delays and inconvenience.
Passengers at the Delhi Airport took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice their frustration over the power outage, which left critical services like Digi Yatra non-operational. One user shared their experience, stating, “T3 terminal #delhi #airport totally choked due to power failure! No counter, no Digi Yatra, nothing functioning. This is shocking.”
Delhi airport authorities assured passengers that their feedback has been noted and communicated to the concerned team for further investigation.
An airport official clarified that the outage lasted for only two to three minutes before power was shifted to backup systems.
