The bust comes just days after a series of drug-related arrests and seizures in the city. On Sunday, two Afghan nationals were detained after being found in possession of 400 grams of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine in the Tilak Nagar area. Both were arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
In a separate incident the same day, Delhi Customs officers intercepted a passenger at Indira Gandhi International Airport and seized 1,660 grams of cocaine, worth over ₹24 crore, from the individual. The passenger, a Liberian national who had arrived from Dubai, was apprehended as part of ongoing efforts to combat international drug trafficking.
