Raghuvinder Shokeen will represent Nangloi Jat, Som Dutt has been fielded from Sadar Bazar, and Jarnail Singh will contest from Tilak Nagar.
Notably, the party introduced a few new names, including Ramesh Pehalwan, who will contest from Kasturba Nagar. Pehalwan, a former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, joined AAP earlier in the day along with his wife, Kusumlata Ramesh, in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal. Another fresh entrant is Pooja Naresh Balyan, the wife of sitting MLA Naresh Balyan, who has been fielded from Uttam Nagar.
In the 2020 assembly elections, AAP registered a landslide victory, winning 62 of the 70 seats, while the BJP managed to secure only eight.
