New Delhi: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for July 7 as a massive gathering is expected at Guruji Ashram in the Bhatti Mines area of South Delhi for the Guruji Birthday Celebration. Devotees from across India, along with VIPs and dignitaries, are likely to attend the religious event.
In a post on X, the traffic police said, “A large number of devotees are expected to attend and traffic movement is likely to remain affected from the intervening night of July 6 till late night on July 7.”
Commuters have been advised to avoid Chhattarpur Road (SSN Marg) during this period and those visiting the Ashram have been asked to arrive before 5 am to avoid congestion. Entry to the Ashram near Bhatti Mines will be through SSN Marg for all vehicles.
Traffic movement is expected to be affected on SSN Marg, Bhatti Mines Road, the Gadaipur Police Post area and roads surrounding Guruji Ashram.
Heavy Transport Vehicles will face restrictions for 24 hours from midnight on July 6, with diversions in place. However, emergency vehicles, including ambulances, fire brigade and police vehicles, will continue to operate without restrictions.
