Fog shrouds North India and cyclone havoc continues in South

Dense fog has covered Northern part of India, such that delays in trains and flights has disrupted transport.

17 trains are running late and 6 cancelled as dense fog blankets Lucknow city in Uttar Pradesh resulting in low visibility.

In Delhi, 61 trains are running late, 7 rescheduled and 13 cancelled due to fog, passengers are stranded. Three International flights and 6 domestic flights from/to Delhi delayed, 3 domestic flights were cancelled due to foggy weather.

The death toll due to Cyclone Vardah has risen to 16 as per the last updates.  Large number of people are left without any means to contact their near and dear ones.
