India has reported its first positive case of the deadly Novel Corona virus from the state of Kerala on Thursday.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed this development and has given the details of the same.
A student from Kerala, studying at the University of Wuhan has tested positive for this deadly virus. However, his condition is said to be stable and doctors are closely monitoring this.

He has been kept in isolation.
Meanwhile, three patients at the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Delhi have tested negative for this virus.
The government is taking all precautions in ensuring that the virus doesnt enter and spread across India.
They have set guidelines prescribing a minimum of 14 days to those with a travel history to China. They have been asked to sleep separately and not interact with guests and avoid travel. This is for those who have reported symptoms related to the virus.
So far, the virus has spread to more than 16 countries and has infected more than 7000 people.
