According to an official statement from the IAF, the aircraft had taken off from Air Force Station Bamrauli around 12:15 pm when it developed a technical malfunction mid-flight. The pilots acted swiftly and executed a controlled force landing in an uninhabited area, preventing any harm to civilians or damage to property.
Both pilots on board the aircraft were reported to be safe, and no injuries were sustained in the incident. The IAF confirmed that the crash did not impact any residential zones.
The Air Force has ordered a Court of Inquiry to determine the exact cause of the technical failure that led to the emergency landing. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
