Days after the extensively viewed Apple’s ‘It’s Glowtime’ launch event, the iPhone 16 series has now hit the stores in India and other countries on September 20. People gathered in large numbers outside Apple stores in Delhi and Mumbai with a bated breath to buy and catch a glimpse of the new iPhone series.

Hundreds of iPhone lovers thronged to the Apple store in Saket, Delhi and in BKC, Mumbai, some arriving hours before the stores opened, hoping to be among the first to purchase the new iPhone models.

The videos showing long queues outside the Apple store at Mumbai’s BKC and in Saket, Delhi have gone viral on social media. Apple, known for the annual launching of its iPhone series and other products, has rolled out the iPhone 16 lineup in almost 60 countries including India, South Korea, China and Australia.

“I came at 6 am. I purchased the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I liked iOS 18 and the zoom camera quality has become better now, I came from Surat,” said Akshay, one of many who arrived at the Apple store.
