Army kills 5 infiltrators in Gurez sector in north Kashmir

Bandipora: Indian Army on Friday foiled a terrorist infiltration bid, neutralising five militants on Friday in Gurez sector of Bandipora district in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, weapons including RPGs have been recovered.

A massive search operation is underway and the area has been cordoned off to smoke out any remaining terrorists.

Pakistan violated the ceasefire on Thursday night in Balakot sector in Poonch, where one jawan and one civilian were injured.

According to reports in Indian Express, army patrolling team on Thursday night found suspicious movement on the border. The army laid a trap and gunned down the terrorists.
