A series of terror attacks since June 9, have shaken Jammu and Kashmir, with strikes reported in Reasi, Kathua, and Doda. These attacks have tragically resulted in the deaths of nine pilgrims and a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan. Additionally, a civilian and at least seven security personnel have been injured in these incidents.
In light of the escalating violence, Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a high-level review meeting to assess the security situation in the region. He has directed all security agencies to operate in a “mission mode” to ensure a swift and coordinated response to any threats.
