New Delhi: Rekha Agarwal, the mother of murdered Pune-based realtor Ketan Agarwal, has written an emotional letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking speedy justice and the strictest punishment for those accused of killing her son.
In the letter, she said she had dreamed of seeing Ketan marry and grow old with the family but was instead forced to perform his last rites.

She urged the Prime Minister to ensure the case is not delayed, stating she was seeking justice, not sympathy. “Please do not let Ketan become just another case file,” she wrote, adding that she still speaks to her son’s photograph every night, hoping to one day tell him justice has been served.
Ketan Agarwal, 26, allegedly died after being pushed off a cliff at Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18. Police initially treated the incident as an accidental death but later concluded it was a pre-planned murder.
His fiancée, Siya Goyal (20), and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary (22), were arrested for allegedly conspiring to kill him ahead of their scheduled wedding in November. Both are in police custody until July 16.
Investigators said the case is supported by digital evidence, CCTV footage, witness statements and forensic material.
The case has sparked public outrage, with candlelight marches held in support of the family, while authorities continue their investigation.
