New Delhi: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has appointed Krishna Mohan as its interim general secretary after accepting the resignation of Champat Rai. The announcement was made by Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri, who said Krishna Mohan will handle the additional responsibility until a permanent appointment is made.
The Trust also accepted the resignation of trustee Anil Mishra in accordance with its constitution amid the ongoing controversy over the alleged theft during the counting of donations.

Krishna Mohan, who belongs to Hardoi, is a graduate of Lucknow University. He began his career in the Atomic Energy Department before joining the Indian Forest Service. He later retired from the Maharashtra cadre after serving in senior positions. According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, he is currently involved in social service activities in Hardoi.
Following his appointment, Krishna Mohan said he would focus on strengthening the Trust’s internal systems and ensuring that the alleged lapses are addressed.
