After a millet-themed song featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi that earned a coveted nomination for the Grammy Awards this year, a 13-year-old school girl has set a world record by painting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s portrait for 12 hours non-stop using 800 kg of millets.

Presley Shekinah unveiled the World’s Largest Millet Painting on September 17, a tribute to Prime Minister Modi’s birthday. The portrait is 600 square feet and made of 800 kg of millet. Working from 8:30 am and completing it by 8:30 pm on Sunday.
Presley Shekinah is the daughter of Pratap Selvam and Sankeerani, who live in the Kolpakkam area of Chennai. She is in class 8 and studies at Vellammal School, a private school.
The UNICO World Record has recognised Presley’s effort, and it has been registered under the student achievement category. R Sivaraman, director of UNICO World Records, honoured Presley Shekinah with a world record certificate and medal.
The school administrator, principal, parents, and relatives also appreciated the achievement of the young girl.
