New Delhi: The gruesome murder of Shraddha has sent shockwaves across the country, while police are investigating different aspects of the case. The police further took Aftab, the alleged accused in the case to the Mehrauli forest area.

  • 13 body parts were discovered after Aftab was transported to the locations where he had thrown them, according to reports citing Delhi Police officials. The flesh pieces have been sent for forensic examination to determine if they are human body parts or not.
  • Police took him to the forest to collect the body parts which he had earlier disposed off in the area.
  • According to reports, the accused bought a brand new refrigerator to store the body pieces.
  • The police are further probing if the accused had rented a flat in Delhi’s Chhatarpur area as part of a conspiracy to kill the victim.
  • Father of Shraddha Walker demanded the death penalty for the accused.
  • Her father said that “Shraddha was close to her uncle and didn’t talk to me much. I was never in touch with Aftab.”
  • He further added that “I trust Delhi Police and the probe is moving in the right direction.”
