Tanushree Dutta’s revelation about Nana Patekar has brought #MeToo movement back into the limelight, inspiring many to share their stories.
A woman shared screenshots of her conversation with Chetan Bhagat, in which the author says he wants to woo her ignoring her protests that he is married.

A day later, in his Facebook post, Chetan Bhagat apologised to the ‘person concerned’ for his actions. He also wrote that he was writing the message after discussing the matter with his wife.
Not just Chetan Bhagat, but in the wake of MeToo movement many journalists also came forward and shared their stories. Sandhya Menon, a journalist and writer alleged that senior Times of India editor KR Sreenivas had behaved in an inappropriate manner with her several years ago.

In other such incidents, Journalist Anoo Bhuyan has alleged that Mayank Jain of Business Standard made unwelcome sexual advances at her and Journalist Divya Karthikeyan has alleged that writer, journalist and cultural critic Sadanand Menon sexually harassed her.

The ‘Queen’ of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut also accused director Vikas Bahl of sexual harassment.

In an interview with India Today, she said when they met socially and hugged, the director would ‘hold her really tight’ and ‘smell’ her hair.
“It took me great amount of strength and effort to pull myself out of his embrace… I could tell something is wrong with him,” Kangana said.
Meanwhile, in a recent development, Tanushree has also filed a complaint against Nana Patekar and choreographer Ganesh Acharya in the incident at Oshiwara police station.
