As India continues to see a massive surge in the number of COVID-19 cases, Centre has decided to extend the ban on international flight operations till July 15.
Releasing a Circular, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that all scheduled international commercial flight operations will remain suspended till July 15.
“The competent authority has decided that scheduled international commercial passenger services to/from India shall remain suspended till 2359 hrs IST of July 15, 2020,” the DGCA Circular stated.
However, DGCA clarified that the ban will not be applicable on international cargo flights and flights that have been approved by DGCA.
