According to reports, multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) attempted to breach Indian airspace over Jammu. India’s advanced S-400 Triumf air defence system was promptly activated and successfully intercepted and neutralized eight missiles that were reportedly fired by Pakistan during the attack.
In addition to the aerial threat, Pakistani forces engaged in heavy artillery shelling targeting forward positions and civilian areas along the border. The Indian Army responded with calibrated retaliation, silencing several enemy positions across the Line of Control (LoC). A complete blackout has been enforced in Akhnoor of Jammu Division; sirens are being heard.
More details are awaited.
