PM Modi Condoles Birbhum Hotel Fire Deaths

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed grief over the death of eight people in a hotel fire in West Bengal’s Birbhum district.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister conveyed condolences to the families who lost loved ones and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the tragedy.

PM Modi said the local administration was providing assistance to people affected by the incident.

The fire broke out at a hotel in Tarapith, a major pilgrimage town in Birbhum, early Monday. Rescue and firefighting operations were launched after authorities were alerted.
