External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar at an event on Sunday PM Modi is a demanding and interactive boss.
Speaking at an event in Mumbai, Jaishankar explained that he has daily performance reviews with Modi and that the Prime Minister expects thorough preparation. Jaishankar emphasized that when discussing issues with Modi, one must be fully prepared, present strong arguments, and back them up with data. He added that Modi’s approach requires individuals to be confident in their positions and able to defend them effectively.
S Jaishankar further highlighted two characteristics of PM Modi’s leadership style and said that PM Modi is a very interactive boss who encourages open discussion and gives his team “operational freedom.”

He said, “A second characteristic I would say is that he is a very interactive boss. There are bosses who make up their minds before you talk to them or there are those who give you a decision. His way of decision-making is very much interactive.”
