Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said the latest agreements signed with the United Arab Emirates will strengthen bilateral ties and give “further vigour” to the growing partnership between the two nations.

Following his visit to the Gulf nation, India and the UAE exchanged seven major agreements spanning energy, defence, advanced technology, maritime development and investment.
Sharing his thoughts on X, Modi described the outcomes as “Substantive outcomes, which will add vigour to the India-UAE friendship.”
A major highlight was the partnership between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited, aimed at boosting India’s energy security and expanding reserves, along with cooperation in LPG and LNG infrastructure.
The two sides also signed a long-term liquefied petroleum gas supply agreement to strengthen India’s energy stability.
In defence, both countries established a Strategic Defence Partnership focused on production, military exercises, maritime security and cyber cooperation.
A ship repair and manufacturing cluster is also planned in Vadinar, Gujarat, alongside skill development initiatives.
In technology, C-DAC and UAE’s G42 will collaborate on an eight Exaflop supercomputer cluster, while the UAE also committed USD 5 billion toward Indian infrastructure and financial institutions.
