Hyderabad: Telangana Police on Thursday arrested the suspended BJP MLA T.Raja Singh from his residence in Hyderabad in connection with the alleged remarks against he made on Prophet Muhammad.
According to reports, the police confirmed that out of 101 cases registered against the suspended MLA, he was involved in 18 communal offences.
A massive protest took place against T Raja over his alleged comments on Prophet Muhammad. Earlier this week, he was taken into custody on Tuesday and was released after a court order.
The FIR was registered against him at the Dabeerpura Police Station under sections 153(A), 295, and 505 of the Indian Penal Code.
