Security measures at the Taj Mahal were significantly tightened on Tuesday after the iconic monument received a hoax bomb threat via email, officials confirmed. The threat, directed to the Tourism Department, prompted immediate action by authorities.
Syed Areeb Ahmed, ACP for Taj Security, addressed the media, stating, “Tourism department received the email. Based on that, a case is being registered at Tajganj police station. Further investigation is being done.”
