Chennai: Tamil super star, Actor Vijay Joseph Chandrashekar is currently being questioned by the Income Tax department in Neyveli, where he is shooting for his new movie ‘Master’.
This questioning comes even as the IT sleuths are carrying out raids across 20 locations in Chennai and other locations within the state, belonging to the AGS Entertainment Private Limited and AGS Cinema Private Limited.
The above mentioned companies produced the actor’s last blockbuster ‘Bigil’ which hit the theaters in October 2019.
The actor courted controversy in 2017 when the local Tamil Nadu BJP unit objected to certain dialogue in his movie, ‘Mersal’ which were seen to be against the central government and the BJP party.
