Three Dead, 20 Injured As Bus Crashes In Mumbai’s Kurla

A tragic accident in Kurla (West) on Monday night left at least three people dead and 20 others injured after a BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) bus collided with multiple vehicles near the Anjum-E-Islam School on SG Barve Marg.

The mishap occurred around 9:50 PM, as confirmed by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB). Rescue operations were promptly launched with firefighting personnel and other authorities arriving at the scene. At 10:10 PM, the MFB classified the accident as a “Level-1” incident, indicating an emergency of lower severity but requiring immediate attention.

The ill-fated bus was en route from Kurla railway station to Andheri when the accident occurred. Details regarding the cause of the crash remain unclear, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances behind the incident.
