New Delhi: Two GoAir flights were diverted to Delhi and Srinagar, due to a problem with the engines in two different instances on Tuesday.
GoAir A320 aircraft VT-WGA flight G8-386 from Mumbai to Leh was diverted to Delhi, due to an EIU (Engine Interface Unit) issue in engine number 2, and GoAir A320 aircraft VT-WJG flight G8-6202 from Srinagar to Delhi was turned back to Srinagar due to EGT over-limit in the engine.
DFCA is currently looking into the incidents and both the planes won’t take off until the regulator gives the all-clear.
The regulatory said “We are investigating and in the meanwhile, both these aircraft are being grounded and shall fly only when cleared by DGCA”
