Two Police Personnel Found Dead In J&K’s Udhampur

Udhampur: Two police personnel were found dead with bullet injuries inside a police vehicle in Udhampur on Sunday morning, authorities said.

An AK-47 rifle was used in the incident, according to Udhampur police.

“The incident happened at 6:30 a.m. They were traveling from Sopore to the Talwara training center,” said Senior Superintendent of Police Amod Ashok Nagpure.

A third officer in the vehicle was unharmed, police confirmed.

The bodies will be taken to the Government Medical College (GMC) in Udhampur for postmortem and further investigation.

Police officers have reached the scene, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
